Question Opinions about my G’year G614 tires

A little background: We bought the 5th new tho it was last year’s model and it came with the dreaded TowMax tires which lasted about 16 months and 7,800 miles. 2 tires failed in a pretty dramatic fashion within 70 miles each other. I credit my TireMinder TPMS with helping to prevent collateral damage.

I replaced the dead tires and the 2 remaining ones with G’year G614’s. Fast forward to Oct 2020 and they have delivered a touch more than 5 years and 26,000 flawless miles. They look to be in excellent condition with little tread wear and no visible cracking, mystery bumps or bulges.

So, on to my questions:
1) looking for opinions about what I should expect for their useful lifetime.

2) as I said they’ve been flawless but I’m starting to wonder what I will replace them with. The 614’s are a strong front runner but they are a bit $$. Next in the running are the G’year Endurance. For you G’year Enduro owners, how many years/miles are you seeing and have there been failures on the road (I’ve not read of any failures)?

I have run my Endurance tires from Seattle to New Mexico (2016), to New England (2017), to Alabama (2018), and to Montana (2019) to attend Coleman Collector Conventions. Plus numerous local camping trips in between. I would not hesitiate to recommend the GY Endurance to anyone replacing tires! I really like they have a speed rating of 87 MPH, not that I drive that fast but good to know that the quality is there if one decided to.

Our last fiver was an Alfa with the 614's. came with them. I replaced them in Colorado on our way to Montana. They were in good shape when I sold the rig 8 years later. The shop in Colorado said it was the only tire most of his horse trailer customers would buy. Be sure and have them checked for cracking and I was told replacement mandatory at 10 years. If we kept the Alfa tires were on my shortlist. Our Eagle has the GY Endurance tires and while they seem fine they have a nack for finding every nail in the campground lol. Big truck Big rig on YT says the Sailuns are comparable but I have no experience with them.

I have a set that have been running for a little over 6 years. They still look new and have never had any problems. No cracking or even signs of wear. I plan to use them for a few more years.
