I have not used vehicle equipped sway control. How I understand them to work is once the vehicle sees sway it applies braking power to various wheels to counter the sway. I also understand that it feels like someone has taken control of the truck from you. I understand in the setup menu in the instrumentation cluster you can have it determine if you have a TT connected (via 7-pin connector use) and it changes the way it works. I understand if you pull into a corner like a cloverleaf to fast it will sense it and start recovering for you. I also heard it makes a lot of groaning noises from under the truck too. (Boy there are a lot of I understand and also heard of in that paragraph)
I can tell you with my Equalizer brand WDH, I have virtually no sway, I rarely ever feel a semi pass me, and the only ones I feel are coming up from behind and they have the BIG frontal area like a Greyhound bus.
Please let us know how it works, at some point I will need a new TV and anything safety is usually worth it, just have to learn how to us it and what to expect from it, and its limitations.
