Ram puck system and a Superglide hitch.

Just curious to see if anyone is pulling a newer Eagle fiver with a Shortbed Ram 3500 and Pullrite Superglide hitch and how you like it. Any issues with leveling or bed clearance?

I'll be the first to answer my own question LoL...
Really wanted to use the Pullrite SuperLITE fifth wheel hitch but it was damaged in transit. I was insisting our new truck have the tow prep from the factory and figured I should use it so I ordered the SuperGLIDE hitch for the Ram OEM puck system. Here's a couple of pics for anyone wondering about the clearance over the bed if you have a Ram truck and want a Superglide setup with a Jayco Eagle.

It does look good, I was thinking about the Superlite hitch that it would be kind of iffy with your truck. What is the length of your bed?

Same as yours....6.5 feet. I really like that Superlite you have and it was on my list. I agree...it made sense to me with this trucks capacity to use the one for my puck system. Plus it takes the pucker factor out of the equation for me as I did hit my old trucks cab one time while towing our old fifth wheel.

It don't look bad so how heavy is it? Man you have an awesome setup now and I think that that will work for you in the long run.

271 Ibs ......I have an engine hoist to get it out with. It's actually one of the lightest for an auto slider. It's rated for 24,000 and 6000 hitch weight.
Yep..it's overkill but now when the wife wants that big pinnacle I'm ready lol. I really like our 319 MLOK and hope we keep it a couple years though. It's a great trailer.

Lol, that is how I was doing my B&W hitch that I had but of course I sold both, one was a slider and the other wasn't but my wife and some of her church members ladies they went to Hawaii and they got in late that night and I had my B&W hitch in the back of my bed.

I had to go in the shed and pull it from the back yard to the front in the grass and pick up the hitch out of the bed and then was all about 11:00 PM. The wife told me that they had a lot of stuff, all 5 of them and that I will need room in my bed.

It's was crazy so I said that I have to find a better way for me so I started to search and came with the AUH and the Superlite Pullrite hitch, long story I went with the Superlite.

I didn't know that your bed was the 6.5 bed but yeah it would have been nice to have gotten the Superlite but it's all good.

Do you have plan on going somewhere for the 4th?

No....wish we did. We are going out to canyon country which is close to us for a week on the 13th though. Things were gettin better and I thought more would open up in the state but it hasn't happened.

A big dually has that "get out of my way" appearance. I love mine!

Yeah I love it, the wife don't care for dually but I'm sure that I can convince her that we need or should I say I need a dually. Maybe in the near future or far future but right now I'm good to go, we probably keep our setup for a few years we have other agenda that we want to get done first.
