I'm a big fan of my weigh safe hitch for this very reason. I like knowing my numbers and weights.

I assume the scale is permanently mounted in the hitch. How long will the scale last and maintain accuracy? Are there any long term (> 2 years) users are out there that can comment?

My non weigh-distribution Weigh Safe I have had for three years and it works without issue. Scale still works too.

The weigh distribution hitch is under a year old so time will tell.

Apparently they had really poor customer service many moons ago and something changed at their company (profit loss maybe?) and they redesigned the scale from copper to steel and they now have a lifetime warranty on the scale. https://www.weigh-safe.com/frequently-asked-questions/#
