Anyone towing a jay flight 26bh with an expedition el. Mine has the hd tow package with the eco boost. 9200lb tow rating with Hd radiator, hd transcooler

Our ‘03 Expe towed an X23B that scaled abt 4500# and we were close on the rear GAWR. With a second couple aboard we were probably over on the rear axle. IMHO the Max Tow Number is misleading and is a worthless number.
That said, I met a guy towing a 16000# toy hauler with an F150. I commented that it’s a heavy 5th and he said, “added air bags, tows great”. Also discovered he leases his truck and gets a new one every 3 years.

Hate being the weight police, but you should check your cargo/payload capacity via the sticker on the DS door. You will probably run out of cargo/payload before hitting the 9k limit.
