Back Up Camera for 19UXD

I am installing a back up camera on my 2017 Jay Feather 19UXD and the tail lights have Black, Green and White wires. The directions state to hook it into the reverse light, which wire would that be??Also which wire is the ground?

Thanks.

No reverse wire on the back of 19UXD (unless Jayco recently added reverse lights). The wires to the tail lights are for running (low) brake/signal (high) lights and common.

Most folks connect the camera to the center marker light, and then just turn on the running lights when the camera is required. Not really a problem if it is on all the time, just turn off the display if it is distracting you from driving.

Can I still wire it into the tail lights? If so, which wire would I connect to, black, white or green? Which wire would be the ground too?

Assuming you are at the left side light, and Jayco is following wiring color from the 7-pin harness, then the green wire is the brake/signal wire. The black "should" be the marker lights, and the white should connect to the trailer frame (both common and ground).

HOWEVER, I would take nothing for granted when it comes to trailer wiring. Grab your DVM and confirm. Turn on the marker/running lights and see which wire gives you +12VDC (if you get -12VDC, you have them reversed). Do the same with the green wire and the flasher or brakes engaged.
