Bunk End Skirting

Hi.

Once again I am turning to all the experts on this site. I have been helped many times here.

I will be camping for 4 months this summer in my X23B. I would like to create a little storage area under my rear bunk by putting some vinyl skirting around the outside, hanging down. I need to do this to hide what I store under there. I will need to easily access the "awning side" of the camper . I will be storing a college refrigerator, full of adult beverages, under and need quick access.

We will be working at the campgrounds and need to follow the "rules"...lol

Hoping someone can give me some great tips.

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Ernie

Those are usually custom made. I would check with an auto upholstery shop.

Bunk end skirting

So I found some reasonably priced fabric, the same stuff camper covers are made of. I think the only way to attach it will be with snaps. I could sew velcro to the new stuff, but it would be difficult to do on the bunk tent. The self adhesive velcro strip only stay stuck for so long. I am concerned that the snaps may cause the tent fabric to rip.

Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks

Remember that you will be leveling your RV to be level for the fridge and your interior comfort...

And the ground under your RV is never level. Your skirt will need to be able to compensate for the length it needs to be to touch the ground (or not).

Those that put Winter Skirts on their rigs, want the skirt to seal as much air as possible, but you seem to be looking for a visual skirt to block the view - that may be different in summer months when you don't want "critters" crawling up your skirt and into your RV.
