Bunk seam stain/leaks

Hi everyone,

We're in our first season in our 2014 X20E. This is our fifth trip but only second rain. I noticed a smaller version of these stains after the first rain but no leaks. Last night was a pretty big storm and we had visible leaks and now they've grown to look like this. Both far sides of the queen bunk. Any tips to clean and reseal?

That looks like residue from heavy condensation more than any leak. It could be seepage from the seams, in which case just use a good quality seam sealer on them. They won't leak from the vinyl unless there are holes or cuts in the surface.

As far as cleaning, use a little bleach in a bucket of hot water. Soak a rag and run it over the area until the stains are gone. Follow with clean, plain hot water. Make sure to remove the bunk mattress before you do so if the rag drips it won't do any bleach damage.

Thanks for the reply! Any recommendations on a good sealer? I see your tag says SE Wisconsin. We're camping in Hayward now and those storms last night were something else.
