To answer a couple of questions: The park is great. Nice boat ramp and snack bar. Clean bath houses (although they could use a few more shower stalls) and the parking pads are a little too close together. However, nice hiking trails and just a short dive (10 miles) to some good trout fishing. The lake itself is known for stripers and smallies. Not enough sewer hook ups. I found this out the embarrassing way. We came back from a hike to find our sewer hose uncoupled and laying on the ground. A note taped to our door read in part that "this site does not have sewer hook up. You hooked your sewer hose to the water shut-off valve. I was so embarrased and sorry for hooking up to the shut-off valve, but it looked just like a sewer hook-up. Lucky for all we seldom use our toilet when there is a bath house available. Most of what went down that hole was dish water.
Funny story to illustrate that we all need to pay attention out there so that we maintain our favorite camping spots for the next guy.
