Hybrid clean water tank

I have a 2015 X23B. I have never use the fresh water tank. What is the conventional wisdom? Do I need to put water in it and clean it or just leave it alone? Again, I've never put water in it.

OK, up till now you've never used the fresh water tank. Are you asking now because you are planing to start using it?

Not planning on using it now. Just concerned, since I've never used it in 4 years, if there could be dry rot issues. Just trying to stay ahead of any problems. Thanks

I can't think of any issues with the tank. Not sure what the shelf life on the water pump would be.
On the other hand, once you introduce water into the system I would think that any residual moisture in the tank could lead to either mold/mildew/algae build up before it dries, or mineral deposits after it dries.
Interesting dilemma you've posted.

I rarely us my fresh water anymore, but still sanitize it every year. I do it as part of my de-winterizing, but probably should do it anyway so that bacteria and stuff doesn't start growing in your water lines.
