Jay Feather X17Z tent end problems

Hello All!

We purchased a new Jayco Jay Feather X17Z two summers ago and are now having issues with it. The screws holding the top, front corners of the tent end in place are ripping through. The tent end came from the factory with only one screw in each corner. I have added more of the same screws to hold it in place. Why would they be pulling through? The top tent pole is at its smallest position and my wife and I together are only 460 lbs and the bunk end is rated for 1100lbs. Looking for some advice to prevent this from happening as we want to keep it as long as well can. Next summer we wa t to drive across Canada and don't want a leaking tent end.

Same problem

Same thing here! I cant wait to see what people have to say as I am facing the cost of replacing the whole tent end. The plastic trim in which you screw through to attach the tent end is full of hole and pretty much usless!
