Kellys,

Could you post the brand/model number of the unit you presently have, and is the converter/charger separate from the Load Center or mounted to the back of it? This info will be helpful for replacement considerations.

I assume you have checked for any blown fuses, faulty breakers, loose wires, etc., at your Load Center and Converter/Charger.

Back in 2006 in most cases Jayco used the IOTA brand converter/charger which were only 2-stage chargers, now 3 & 4 stage are more common providing enhance battery charging.

Progressive Dynamics offers great, reliable converter/chargers. Personally I would stay away from the WFCO brand converter/chargers.

Here's a couple 'non-active' JOF threads that pertain to older Jayco converter/chargers that may be helpful:

"Best Converter" is a good source for different brand converter/charger products/ technical support for converter/charger replacements:

X2, what have you done to diagnose the issue? Do you have any 12v power? Will the battery take a charge?

My 1st suspension is a loose wire between the shore power cord and power center. Every time you pull the cord out, you yank on it. I remember a lot of post 8+ years ago about people finding the terminals were loose

I would pull the load center out of the wall, and check the connections. There should be a wire clamp at the floor behind the box, for strain relief, it makes it hard to remove the box, until the screw is removed.

Make sure both the battery and shore power is disconnected.
