Vortex ll exhaust fan

I want to install the Vortex ll bathroom exhaust fan in my 16XRB. There is No fan installed from factory. My question is- are there any 12v wires in the ceiling near the vent that can be accessed to tap 12v power for the fan? I saw a video where they pulled down the ceiling rim of the vent trim, and there was spare 12v & 120v wires in the ceiling. This wasn’t a 16XRB though.
Thanks

If your TT had an option for a fan, the wires should be up there. Otherwise you'll probably have to fish a pair of wires to the closest ceiling light. You'll want to find a power wire that's hot all the time for the fan.

Don't know your exact layout but it should not be very hard to run wires to the wall switch area and tap into the 12v feeding the switch. At least you know that with the option for the roof vent available, the framing should be in the ceiling already, that would be 75% of the process done with already, running the wires to the switch should be easy depending on the distance, which can't be very much anyway.....even easier if you can make your run to the ceiling light if it's not controlled by a wall switch. You can ask for the framing blue prints for your unit by using the contact us form on the Jayco website, tell them what you need and give them the serial number of your unit...........might want to ask for the wiring diagrams too.

The wall switch can be on, while the puck lights are off, so that will supply the power all the time. Otherwise i would just run tot eh switch it isn't much further
