Honda genny recall

Apparently the second recall in a couple of years.

I went to buy one in the last week or two and low and behold found them pulled from the shelves. They had the other honda models. Was curious why they didn't have any did a bit of net surfing and found out about the stop sale order from Honda and the recall. Something to do with the fuel system.

This recall applies to the i series inverter generators:
Honda EU2200i, EU2200i Companion and EB2200i Portable Generators
I am the proud owner of an EU2200i The current recall is a new one and is the result of an issue when salt water is present and causes the inverter to have an electrical short that results in fire.
The recall last year was for a fuel line issue that caused fuel to leak and caused fires. Mine was recalled for this and the repair was made last year. I would think anyone using one of these near salt water or on a boat should get the recall repair done ASAP. I haven't exposed mine to salt water or salt air, but will get the recall done as soon as the corrective parts are available to my local dealer.
