Battery Boil?

I just took my battery out of the trailer, and brought it home to put on a tender for the next couple months.

I'm in my garage dealing with an RC lipo I think I just cooked and notice my RV lead acid is making a slight bubbling sound on the charger. Can the water in these things boil? It the original battery. A little over 2 years old.

Edit: using a Battery Tennder Plus. Used it the last few winter's without issue.

Yep, especially if it overcharges.
