Dometic to Micro Air swap

I did some searches on here but didnt find my answer. I hate the Dometic single zone thermostat. I want to swap for the Micro Air. My question: is the swap as simple as three wires or does it require a new board, etc? Any help is appreciated Happy camping!

I did the swap and it is virtually plug and play. Couldn't be easier. Just make sure you purchase the correct Micro Air Tstat.

There is a YouTube channel that has shown doing this a few times. Ken is at HillbillyRV. A

x2

I did the swap as well and love the thermostats. If you get the right one, you can simply strip the wires and push them into the new Tstat, very quick and easy.
