How can I clean/polish diamond plate

We just bought a used 2013 SLX 145RB and this past week I clay barred and waxed the paint. It looks great. I now want to clean and polish the diamond plate on the front of the trailer.

Is the SLX 145RB aluminum or plastic diamond plate?

From your experience, what is the best cleaning product for the diamond plate?

What product can I use to polish the diamond plate?

I always use Mothers polish with a Mothers polishing ball in a cordless drill. Makes diamonplate glow.

My 2012, the diamond plate is plastic. I clean it well with a McGuires wash with wax. When ots really dirtt i clean firsr with Spray Power. That's it and it looks great.
