Jayco 165 Feather soft floor

New owner of a 2005 Jayco 165 Feather. While poking around under the master bed I found a good sized portion of the floor that is very soft. No roof leaks are evident. The water heater is located in that area. The previous owner swears they had no water heater leaks, but it is suspicious.

What do I need to do to replace the flooring in that area? Any tips would be helpful.

My 2013 has a soft floor the entire length of the area around the galley. I think it is just due to the lightweight construction. They need to add an extra couple braces under there.

This area of floor is spongy and different from the rest of the floor sheathing.
