Replaced awning fabric on our X-23B

2015 Jayco X-23B (hybrid) travel trailer with 13 ft Dometic awning (Series 9100)

The original awning fabric was extremely decayed and rotting. We ordered new fabric from www.etrailer.com (Lippert drop-shipped from their facility).

I watched some YouTube videos to gain the best tips for doing the job. Here are the two that were the most helpful. (The second one isn't very good, but there were some great tips in the Comments.)

My background in the nuclear power industry compelled me to write a procedure for this task. It is attached for your information.

My DW and I replaced original awning fabric a few years ago, and it went well, although a third helper would have been advantageous. We ordered it through Tough Top Awnings, and they have helpful videos on their site also. They don't have a vast color selection, but the gray color looks good, and the material is top notch. Each one is custom made to order, and free shipping if I remember right.
