Shocks ?

I was looking under the 5th wheel today for loose or missing bolts and noticed there was no shock absorbers on my axles. Did they forget them or don't they put them on trailers anymore? All the other 5th Ws and trailers I have owned had them.

Hmmm... I have a 2011 321RLTS. I will have to look next time I am over at the storage lot. It may have been an extra.

Many 5th Wheels today including Jayco do not come with shocks even though the shock mounts are there.

Our new Pinnacle did not come with shocks same as or our 05 Eagle did not come shocks.

I have read several posts that say with the Mor Ryde Suspension Jayco is using on many of their 5th Wheels, shocks are not needed.

IF you have the mounts INSTALL the shocks... they dont install them at the factory as a cost saving measure... even tho YOU cannot feel the bouncing the trailer can... so put em on ....

With the numerous types/sizes of shocks how would you know what type to install? Ask Jayco? Would assume you would measure distance between mounts and go from there? Would not think you would just put any old shock on there?
