Whirlpool Dryer Moisture sensor

So, as with most things with RV life, there is always something breaking.
Wife dried clothes last night and this AM, and found the Moisture Sensor with the clothes that she took out of the dryer. Apparently something, probably one of the two pairs of shoes she stuffed in the dryer last night, hit the sensor and tore it out of the mount. One corner of the plastic frame is broken and the connector
on the back broke the wire at the base of the connector so probably cannot
reuse that connector.
Ordered another sensor, but getting the dryer out of the cabinet is almost impossible. I tried just to see what it would take, but not enough room to work with there...

Our Pinnacle had a removable header above the dryer, the screws angled in from the back. Could your MH have the same design?

Yes, I removed the header that was small piece of wood with a metal angle bracket mounted to the ceiling in the cabinet. Apparently it was at one time glued to the top of the dryer, but no longer the case now. also removed the three screws that bound it to the top of the washer in the front. Can move the drier side to side a bit, but not up at all in order to remove the metal bracket on the front of the washer.

Wonder if there is another block that is on top of the dryer that slid back? That would stop you from lifting it up to clear the bracket.

I took a small thin rod and swept it across the top to check, but don’t feel anything else on top in the back. I might just put a strip of heat tape
over the holes where the sensor was mounted and just be done with it.
We never use “sensor” dry modes anyway.
