2013 Jayco Greyhawk front slide not working

Front slide worked this morning while on battery. Now on shore power and it won’t go out. Tried disconnecting shore Power and tried with battery and still not working.

Any clicking or movement at all when trying to bring it in or out? Does it sound like its trying to move? Does another slide move?

No clicking, sound or movement. The rear slide works and the front slide worked last night and this morning when when retracted it. I had one house battery but 2 weeks ago added a second to give longer time between recharges

If its not doing anything, sounds like no power at all.

The fuse for the slide should be on a 30amp auto reset breaker in the panel that has all the rest of your breakers based on my wiring diagram (2018 Greyhawk). Mine is on the foot of the bed. On the same 30 amp is also one of the tank heaters. I'd be curious if you try turning on the tank heaters if the light comes on. If it doesn't, it could be a bad auto reset breaker. Hopefully your fuse panel is labeled.

Both slides have auto reset breakers. If they are the plug in kind and you see both on the panel, you could swap as well and see if the issue follows the breaker.

Other than that, you'd probably need a multi-meter and start looking where power is lost from the breaker to the slide motor. Your wiring could be a little different, but generally they are close to the same from what I've seen.

I suppose you could disconnect all power for 3-4 min (shore and battery) and see if that causes anything to reset as well. I doubt it, but easy test.

Attaching a few diagrams for reference.

Thanks for the diagram. I was able to find the fuse and it was bad. Slide working now. I have a tankless water heater and it was working.

Thanks again

was it the auto reset or just a regular fuse in the fuse panel? Just curious..

Sorry, I meant the grey/black tank heaters work off the same fuse based on my wiring diagram.

It was just a regular fuse, had to put meter on it to find out it was bad.
