I wouldn't do that, you can build up excessive heat in the sidewalls, very dangerous. Follow the pressures stated on the door sticker.
One suggestion, fill the water tank and gas tank all the way (if you didn't do so). My coach rode rough when empty, but once all the gear got inside and the tanks filled, it got a lot smoother.
We were away this weekend, and blasting along at over 70 mph was no problem (except for the crappy condition of the PA Turnpike).

Thanks for reply. Contacted hankook tire. Got their tire pressure chart which 70psi is ok. Also at bottom of chart says you can run 65psi all around. We only carry about 1/2 tank of water at 8.3 lbs per gal looking at less than 200 lbs. I am at 62 mph driver. Can send you tire chart is you can give me your email.. HANKOOK TIRE IS 10 PLY VERY STIFF

Hi, some more info. The 22j has a max load of 4053lbs. If all the tanks are absolutely full to capacity and allowing 600 lbs for cargo(inside and out} plus 2 adults 300 lbs i am still under the max by 1800 lbs so should not need max tire inflation. Black and gray tanks empty would add an additional 600 lbs to the 1800 lbs for total of 2400 lbs under max of 4053. What am i missing if anything.....

MIne is marked with the tire pressures in the drivers door jam and with a decal over each set of rear wheels. I run it 5 lbs below that recommended pressure.

Do you have OEM tires on your RV? If so, IMO, running tires underinflated is a POOR practice; a tires sidewall flexes more increasing tire heating and could cause a sidewall failure, its load carrying ability is reduced, and it could contribute to sway issues. Also, you didn't mention if you checked to be sure the sidewalls of the dual tires are not touching! If they do, that is a sure recipe for a tire blowout.

Guys, that sticker in your motorhome is for your rig at max axle weight. Which, for example, for a porky Greyhawk almost certainly is on the rear axle, but probably not on the front.
I took my rig over the scales three times so far to get myself squared up. I need max air on my rear tires, but I can get by with 65 pounds on the front tires per the tire inflation tables:
https://www.michelintruck.com/refere...tion-tables/#/
Look for 225/75R16

Running OEM Michelin tires, no wear issue.
I did check Tire temps with a Infrared Temp gun early on .
Mainly to get an average temp on Tires and hubs.
I do the same on Trailers tires and hub.
Probably not necessary but years of towing and racing
make me look at everything .
