2021 Melbourne 24L

In the event I need to locate the slide out controller, anyone know where it is located on a Melbourne 24L?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase. If no one with a 24l answers it may be behind the sliding wall trim. I believe Mine is on the left side but I have a 24K.

I was wondering if anyone could answer these questions.
1. Does the dashboard have a usb port? A 12v dc receptacle? For charging a phone or tablet.
2. Are there outlets in the kitchen to plug in a coffee make?
3. Is there and outlet in the bathroom to plug in a shaved or hair dryer?

What type of rig are you considering?

The answer should be yes to all your questions in new Class C rigs.

All this is for a 2016 24K with a Jayco installed Pioneer head unit. I imagine the Pioneer model I have is no longer used and I am sure other things have changed.

1. On mine no. I added a couple USB outlets to the dash area. One connects directly to the head unit but if memory serves me it does not charge. I believe it is for thumb drives with music loaded. The other 2 are for charging.

2. I plug mine into an outlet under the upper cabinets over the sink area. There is also another outlet on the end of the cabinet.

3. In the bathroom I don't think so. What I call the bathroom is where the shower and toilet are at. There is one on the side of the sink in the hallway to the bedroom. There is a medicine cabinet with a mirror there and that is where we shave and dry hair.

Did you look at the 24L? You get more open floor space (not have the bath breakup the center) and no step up to the rear.

If your model is still the same as the 2019 models, then the slide controller is located in the wooden box under the bed. It sits in the rats nest of wires next to the water tank.
