Another "Whats THAT" question

On a 2017 (and maybe other years) Greyhawk 29MV dash, there is a area on the dash that looks to be an optional something or another that I cannot seem to place what the option might be. NO REFERENCE I have found explains anything as to what this may be, it isn't covered in the manual, nor can even the "Great and all powerful GOOGLE" locate any explanation of what this is, or for.

Anyone have any guess, or knowledge?? If its something cool, I wanna know....If it's something that can be made into cool, I wanna do it!

I tried to look behind it but its not easy to back that far and up, so I didn't see anything hooked to it but, again couldn't really get a good visual behind there.

Perfect world is : SHE DRIVES, while I kick back in the back bed, listening to Metallica and watching whatever on the DVR until we get where we're going !!! LOL
