Awning on a Melbourne prestige

The awning on our Melbourne Presige doesn’t slide out without reaching up and giving it a push. Has anyone has this issue.

Does the motor run and the fabric unrolls and the arms don't move or does nothing happen until you help it? If the motor runs and the fabric unrolls but the arms don't move you might not be level enough.

Could be your battery just not quite enough...make sure your plugged in to shore power or running the generator. That will help boost the battery.

Jayco says to do this when running slides in and out so it makes sense that it would also help the awning.

This is the new style awning on a Melbourne Prestige 2019. The dealer says it’s just goes out with a spring assist and all the out button does is release it. Likely a manufacture issue because there is no adjustment
