Fresh water issue

We just purchased a 2021 26xd. We fill the fresh water tank and fill it until is starts coming out of the over flow. By the time we arrived at our camp site the water was nearly gone. There are no leaks. The water is coming out of the over flow hoses at a good pace. We pull into a driveway and once it starts coming out takes a bit to stop. Wondering if a siphon is starting as you drive down the road. I’ve had plenty of Rvs and never had this issue.

It's common since the tank is very shallow and wide. We have two of them, and I installed a pair of 1/4 turn valves to the ends. We open them to fill up, close to travel, and open again when we're parked. Very important to do it that way.

It's an issue with a lot of brands that install the same shallow tank(s) in the frame.
