Generator oil change

Changed the oil in my 29MV's 4 KW Onan generator for the first time today. Supposed to take 1.6 quarts. I stopped at 1.5 quarts and it was full. In fact I could see the oil in the in fill hole. Would the coach being out of level affect this? Anyone know anything about this?

Coach not being level will or should affect the level shown. .10 of a quart will not hurt anything. Next time you move the unit, run the gen and then check the oil level, add if needed.

It will take a touch more when it starts and fills the oil filter as well.

The 4KW Onan in our 2014 Greyhawk does not have an oil filter.

Thanks for all the replies. Got it what I think is pretty level (my storage garage) and it shows completely full with just 1.5 qt. And the 2018 MV generator does not have an oil filter either. I will check it periodically.
