Greyhawk steps broken weld

Bracket that holds steps mechanism to body frame has broken. Has anyone removed the step mechanism and do the four bolts remove the steps completely? Should i be concerned about any wiring? Thanks

There will be at least one connecting wiring harness to unplug and the four bolts should allow steps to be removed completely.

We had to replace the steps on our first motorhome (don't ask) and besides the 'pain' of a few hundred dollars the entire job took about 45 minutes.

Thank you 2008Seneca. Yes I see the electrical disconnect is simple. Pleased to hear that it just the 4 nuts to remove. I have my daughter delivering a deep well socket for me tomorrow. Once removed I should be able to get the RV home. I've learned to expect the unexpected. No where to tie it up to frame. Will get it to a welder as DW and I are leaving for a three week trip on the 3rd.
