Have to ask what this connects to on Melbourne

I left a project in motion and my wife had my son make sure everything was "safe" while I was gone. Should not have left my stuff unconnected as my son has made it more difficult. Have all my work photographed to know where wires belong - except this one that I had not planned to disconnect or mess with. So yes, there's a lesson in there. But here's the question. What does this lower post connect to? It's clear my black cable with yellow terminal goes on the top post. Yes, I have the schematics and I'll figure this out eventually but thought this would be quicker. Appreciate any guidance as it will help me get this done faster.

It appears the photos are at the solenoid coach battery shutoff area. My guess based on the wire gauge is for the interior 12V house lights and smoke detectors, or radio which work even when the disconnect switch is operated to disconnect the coach battery.

craigav was the one who educated me on this solenoid wiring, as my class C had this missing when I bought it. A previous owner removed the solenoid and used a copper on/off bar at the battery's positive post instead (too cheap to buy a replacement solenoid I guess).

Here's a link to the thread I started with his pics and schematic on this subject:

While too cheap is an option, we've all made those middle of nowhere "temporary repairs" then had temporary become "when I get a chance" which leads to "it's working why break it"? Lol

Yea, I can agree to that. This Frankenstein switch that the previous installer used made it impossible to slide the battery tray out to service/replace the coach battery, which was how it all started for me to get it all back to OEM spec.

I hope this helps bluztoo identify his mystery wire.

Most helpful. The solenoid is there to the right but this is definitely about radio and some other always on stuff. Comparing photos with schematics at this point. Just don’t see the wire that went to the bottom post.
