Smile Hello!

I have recently purchased a 2006 Jayco 27DS, Class C Motorhome. This is my first motorhome but I have owned two trailers over the years.
I am curious if anybody may have some decent wiring diagrams for this unit. I did get some from Jayco but they only show the wiring harnesses and I am hoping there are some decent schematics out there.
The previous owner installed an after market stereo in the chassis and has wired it to the truck battery. From what I understand, this stereo is usually wired to the house battery. I am hoping to find a decent schematic as a starting point to get the stereo wired up to the house battery as it should be.

Hi Donnola64,

Welcome, I suggest you re-post your question over in the Class C forum where it will get more exposure from other Class C owners. The quick answer is that neither is correct (or incorrect really) as Jayco adds a diode harness so the radio can be powered by either the engine battery when the key is on or the house battery when the key is off. I will check and see, but I don't think it is clearly shown in the schematic I have.

Welcome again, Craig
