Hitch for front of E450 chassis

Ordered a hitch from etrailer for the front of my E450 before Christmas. Got around installing it yesterday. Overall it looks to be real sturdy and should work well for my bike rack.

Install took me working alone about an hour and half. The hardest part was probably putting the darn plastic skid plate back on.

I really like etrailer, very quick, free shipping and the prices are good.

The front hitch is a quality piece at a reasonable cost. I agree that the plastic piece is a bit of a bugger to reinstall. For a while I was using the front hitch to carry a bicycle rack. It now has my spare tire.

Oh boy, something else to add to my list of mods. Didn't realize it could be done DIY and at this reasonable price. Now I can get my spare off the rear and tow without moving the spare. Thanks for the info.
