Question How to access dash behind radio, 2012 Ford E450

Does anyone know how to pop the center dash panel off to access the radio. I need to plug in an accessory wire to the radio's wiring harness.
I was told you have to pop off the air vents? Anyone done this?

Yours is a Fix Or Repair Daily but my good Chevvy (LOL) I just put my finger nails behind the trim bit and pulled the trim out... it just pops in and out... I will assume F.O.R.D.s are the same

If it is a standard Ford radio or one with a common type mount there is a tool available. A very small slot on each side of the radio. Slide the tool in and presto the radio pops out. I spoke to the radio guy in the back of Best Buy and he sold me the tool. That was a couple of years ago. Don't know if that type tool has changed or not.

If it's like ours with the standard Ford radio, dvd, navigation combo unit. Our actual unit is the Magnadyne M4-lcd. There are 2 curved metal wires in with your radio. They should be included along with removal instructions in your owners manual. I haven't actually done it but it appears to be a simple operation.

Good luck
