Just to follow up on this thread in case it will help someone else:
The space is very tight to work or even snap a photo. I tried my best to take a pic and it appeared to be similar to this item

There was no tab to depress or screws to hold the lamp cover, just had to use a small flat head screwdriver to pry it and it popped off. Then replaced the lamp with one of these
https://smile.amazon.com/24-2835-Bri...16&sr=8-1&th=1 Though it does not seem to fit very snugly. I will not be surprised if I am prying off the lamp cover again soon to glue the bulb in place.
Now, if only I could figure out how to turn off the lamp....
It stays on, anytime the main power is on
