That really looks good! I have the exact same motorhome. Was it hard to remove sides?

Very nice. Something I think I will consider for my 1997 Eagle. Please show picks when job is completed.

Why?

Are you adding any additional insulation besides the Reflectix? It looks like there would be room for some foam boards cut to fit in all of those cavities.

The 2 plastic interior sides along with the top and 2 front plastic covers remove easily after removing the lights and the 120v receptacles on each side. Do this after you unscrew the sides.

The fiberglass openings you see were covered later.

I'm curious if there will actually be a difference.

Cap in sun 4 hours straight, 102 degrees out. Inside bunk area 78-80.
Interior temp by main Thermostat 74

Before insulation, temp in 90’s. It was worth doing.

That is some BS work from Jayco. No reason for that. Here I am considering a new class c and I see this. My 2016 Pinnacle has had many many issues. But I have got all of them fixed. Seeing crap like this now gives me second thoughts.

How many square feet of insulation did you end up using?

The 30Z I almost purchased with the water leak had no insulation. The techs pulled the front cap panels to try and find water leak. There was no insulation. I called Jayco Motorized this week and complained about this and other issues. Was told it would be taken down to the production line. I gave them my build order number and said I expected this problem resolved. With all the cooling issues this is another area to be looked at. The quiet ducted system in my FW was terrible even with all the so called fixes done. I will take an inside grill ac anytime.
