Hammerjk, If you still want to buy a Level Mate Pro I have one that was installed 8 months ago and has just been sitting in my camper. I really didn't like it like others did. However, it is as good a new. Would be glad to sell it to you for $85.

For those of you that bought a Gen1 version that didn’t have the on/off switch - they company is offering a upgrade for those that can provide their Amazon order number (or I suppose the company’s own invoice number if you bought from them). I think it was 85 or 90 bucks. I took them up on it as I hated having the battery drain in my rig. I’d rather turn the device on/off as needed. Especially if I want to see if my rig sank into the ground during a stay and I have to bang on the outer shell to ‘wake’ it up. Now I can just flip the switch.

I don’t use it because I have a Jayco with aluminum sides and front which interfere with the signal and it is slow to react.

That's strange, I have it in my 212qb and it works great. I have it mounted on the sidewall near the front left

Our trailer has the front Queen bed, so it's in the left wardrobe on the outside wall. No issues in the two years we've had it (except dead battery when I don't turn it off in storage - it's one of the ones that don't auto shut off)
