Need Hot Water Suggestions(Help!!!)

Hello all I have an SOS. My in-laws are staying in my RV in my driveway. They have been here for more then a week at this point. I have a 2015 Jayco Greyhawk 31FS. It has the continuous hot water type water heater. There have been no problems with the hot water until today. This evening my father-in-law went to shower and he had no hot water. When I went out to check it I noticed that the unit would turn on when the hot water was turned on but the flame does not ignite and eventually the heater itself shuts down. I turned the unit on and off and turned off the gas and turned it back on. No change. I removed the cover to check for a reset button behind the on off switch and could not see one. I checked the breakers in the breaker box at the foot of the bed. I am out of trouble shooting ideas. Anyone have any suggestions?

You don't say what brand you have but some Girards, depending on the year have the reset switch that you have to remove a cover to access it. (google it). They also have a fuse on the outside panel that you could check.

Yes - you might have the Girard with the Hidden Reset button.

Symptoms - you turn on hot water, go outside to the Water Heater. You hear the fan running but the exhaust is cold.

Pop the cover off the heater. Switch it to off. Count to five.
Press the Reset Button (the black dot on the white cylinder in the pix).
Count to ten.
Flip the power switch back on.

Try it now...

Check the inline Thermal cut off with a volt meter, be sure it's not dead

My 2018 the brain died, would have power but wouldn't start

Got a new one from amazon
Dinosaur Electronics UIB64 Ignition Board

Easy fix and replacement
