New Lithium Batteries

Went to the RV Show in Scottsdale and found a company, Lion Energy selling 12v 100 amp hour Lithium batteries for $699.00, regular price $999.00. They come with a lifetime warranty and spec out identical to the Battle Born.

Company is out of American Fork, UT and have been in business for 18 years. They were selling the batteries by the cart load. Has anyone dealt with this company or their products before?

Their website shows the price is $999: https://lionenergy.com/products/lion-safari-ut

That must have been a show only special price.

Lithium Batteries

I would love to get a 12v 100A/H lithium battery, but I know I would need to upgrade my progressive dynamics PD4060K charger/converter. Does anyone know what type of charger/converter I would need for a lithium battery? And what cost am I looking at, for one. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

When I installed my Battle Born batteries they suggested the PD9160ALV.

Not sure what brand you are looking into or if that makes a difference but give Battle Born a call. They are very helpful.

I am looking at the Trojan Trillium 110 ah lithium batteries. This is a new battery that Trojan has recently came out with. Price near $1100.

I will have to replace my Progressive Dynamics charger to get the most performance out of the lithium batteries. I went to PD web site and easily found a cross reference model number of the unit I needed. I am sure you can do the same.

Hope this helps. Sam
