New questions: power to TV and microwave

Ok, I'm camping at my sons house plugged in to it. My TV wouldn't turn on until I tried inverter. Also no power to oven/microwave. Do I need 30 amp to get power to microwave? What about oven? It won't even turn on. I am super new at this! Thank you, Danielle

First we need to know the make and model of your RV. We need to know if it's 30 or 50 amps. From your statement I'm going to assume 30 amps. What are you plugged into at the house.? Is there power at the outlet you are plugged into.?

The inverter most likely operates the TV. 12 volts feeds the inverter. The Microwave is 120 volts. The oven oven is Gas.

You need 120 volt shore power to operate the micro wave.

Did not come with a pre-installed microwave?

What year is your RV?

Did it have a microwave installed at one time?

To install one, you will need an outlet that has 120 volts from shore power.

If I understand what you're asking - any ol' microwave with work in your RV. There's nothing special, nothing RV specific about the microwave.
