Newly manufactured Generator bin vented door.

I have noticed that Jayco is now releasing the Greyhawk with a vented Bin Door on the generator. Apparently, they were experiencing too many heat issues ...

Anyone know how to get one of those doors after the warranty is expired ....???

I would call the factory and see if it would be available to fit your model.

Does anyone have a picture of that door? I’d like to see what the vent looks like. I’ve considered adding a louvered vent in the existing door, similar to a bilge vent on a boat. It does get quite hot in the generator compartment.

We bought a vented grate at Home Depot. In the heating and cooling section. Made a template and used a jig saw to cut the hole. less than 20 bucks looks pretty good! Thanks

I'm seriously considering doing just that. I just did not know where to start with the search for a grate until your post popped up (THANKS).

I emailed Jayco Customer service about four days ago asking where I might find a door or vent for the door. No response yet ...

We have a trip planned across Texas in August and I'm really wanting to add some kind of vent before we leave. The local dealer has a new model in stock with the vented door that I hope to put my eyes on this week.

Check out the site for Arctic Fox. It shows their TT with a gen. with a vented door.
Might give a idea for a retro for someone.
