Does your generator have a breaker on it? I am not familiar with your unit, but mine has a breaker.

Generator is working. Microwave and outlet by sink not working. Tried plugging pot into different outlet but inverter went off

Coffee pot is probably too much load for your 1000w inverter. If the generator is working properly, the inverter shouldn’t even be in play. The generator will continue to run even if it’s breaker tripped. Microwave and coffee pot are big loads, especially if your air conditioning was on. You can look up your Oman 4000 microquiet generator manual online if you don’t have the book.

You don't need your inverter on when plugged into shore power or running the generator.

Start a new tread and I am sure someone will help you. you need to provide a lot more information, ie which outlets what kind of generator etc. you might have several different issues, microwave might go through the inverter but the kitchen sink outlet probably doesn't but is on a GFI protected circuit. Good luck.

You can not check breakers and fuses by looking.
