No Water

I have a friend that bought a lightly used winterized 2016 Greyhawk 29ME but is now in Florida. He can hear the pump run, but no water out of faucets. The water tank is full, but in the compartment off the from the rear storage compartment he can see the pump, but said there are 6 different possible valve positions in the water lines. He understands which direction the valve must point to indicate flow, but is confused as to which valves do which. Any help is appreciated.

On my Seneca to get water from the tank via the pump the valves are set to "Normal" per the legend next to the valves. That is left valve 3, right valve 5. It certainly may be different on that rig.

My unit also has a low point drain near the pump, if it is open the pump only sucks air even if the valves are set properly.

Here is a picture of the controls on our 2018 29MV. Hope it helps. You'll need to enlarge it slightly. The 3/5 set-up is correct for the operation of the electric water pump.

So I've got a 2016 31FK so odds are our valve panels are the same. Like others have said - fill the fresh water tank, make sure the low-point drains are all closed (I have three).

Optionally, Look at the water inlet connection, make sure the screen is pointed "tip out" so the check-valve isn't held open.

Then valves to 3 & 5 "Normal".

If, after 1 or 2 mins, still no water, I'd flip valves to "City Water", hook a hose up to the inlet and see if I just needed to prime the tubes.

There's a chance that the water filter valves may have been closed. But I don't know where the filter is in that unit.
