Exclamation Outdoor TV Not Working

Hello! Brand NEW the RV life...just purchased our first camper (Jayco 26M). I hooked up TWO outdoor TV's to the antenna hookup but no reception on either (although the TV inside the camper works just fine). Could it be a fuse needing to be replaced somewhere? This is the only thing not working. We did a walk through with the dealer but there was not an outdoor TV attached to check connectivity. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated before I have to make an appointment to take it in!

Sometimes these TV's that connect up to the RV antenna have an amplifier to increase arial signal. You have to push a button to make this work. However, you said the interior TV is working. Perhaps the outside TV's have their own areal signal amplifier?

Do you have the owners manual or various pamphlets that will explain TV operation?

Assuming you are connected to a cable source, did you set the outdoor TV up to scan for cable channels? Are you sure the TV is set to the proper input? This would all be done through the TV's menu system and is different on every TV brand. Also, somewhere close to your indoor TV will be a switchplate with a push button switch. If that button is pressed an led light will be visible. That powers your roof antenna amplifier and is only used when searching for over the air channels (No cable source)

Thank you "older" tv's that I had on hand that I manually scanned channels for. I'm pretty technologically savy, so I'm sure I had the correct input. I did NOT see a led red push button, but I will look now that you're saying that... possibly behind the tv. Could be the problem or could be my tv's are too old but can't imagine that would be the issue as they have and
are connected to the cable source. Thanks for advice about the red button!

Thank you... no way to do an aerial amplification that I can see. Older tv's that I thought would work since they have cable input....so maybe that's the problem. Just trying to save a little $$ and not have to purchase yet another thing for the camper! If all else doesn't work, I may have to spring for a NEW tv! Thank you!

Can you remove the inside TV and connect outside just to confirm the connection is good?

I have a 23 entegra 26M and where the coax plugs into the outlet behind the main tv there is a button to push that turns on the roof antenna and the light will be green if it's on. The button is a bit hard to see as it's below the coax on the plate.

Do the tv's in question work when connected to the antenna port that the inside tv is connected to?
Or does the inside tv work when connected to the antenna port that the outside tv's are connected to?

As mentioned, connect the outside tv to the inside coax see it it works there.

That said, you may be connected to a cable coax not a coax tied to your Antenna. Check your manual or contact the dealer

MarcM......Good idea but the TV is huge inside and wall mounted. Would be a real pain to try to dismount and move. Thank you for helping to trouble shoot though!
