Outside tv

Has anyone installed an Tv outside on a 2017 Grayhawk 31DS.

Looking to mount a bracket that I can remove the tv when not in use.

When we roll into a campground with CABLE TV hook up I add a TV SIGNAL SPLITTER at the pedestal and run one RG cable to the trailer CABLE connection and then throw the other RG cable under the trailer. Then when we want to watch TV outside we just hook up the second CABLE TV to the cable that was under the trailer.

The best more permanent setup I liked was this one which is just inside the storage bay on a swivel mount. Just open the storage door and swing out the HDTV to watch it... If the weather gets bad or you all walk away from the patio area just swing the TV set back into the storage bay and close the door...

You can get those swivel mounts almost anywhere they sell TV's Check out WALMART or AMAZON...

I would pick up a HDTV SET size that would fit the inside of the storage door and then just leave it mounted there. When moved back inside it will fit up against the inside wall pretty flat and take up much of your storage area... You could use the same idea of using a TV SIGNAL SPLITTER at the pedestal for CABLE TV and hook up the second RG cable to this HDTV in the storage bay.

Thanks, that has me thinking about using a swivel mount and hiding it either in the compartment or underneath the motorhome.

Ljnasa, did you ever end up mounting a TV to the outside of your DS? I have the same model and looking to add a TV out side as well.

No I didn’t , I purchased a small table and sit a 42” Tv on it.
I purchased a padded tv bag to carry it in.
What year DS do you have, mine is a 2017z

Just bought it this winter as a 2018. Haven't used it yet and am eagerly waiting for Spring.

We have been using ours since we purchased it last April and love it. We live right outside New Orleans and the weather has only been too cold to pull it out once that we had to cancel our trip. The biggest thing I have learn is to make sure you have the tire pressure’s set right. I run 75 in the front and 85 in the rear. The first two trips the tires we under inflated and I had a hard time with it swaying from side to side.
Good look and hope you enjoy it.
