I was carrying portable pancake air compressor but after I got a 18v Ryobi air compressor for Christmas the Pancake pump went into the attic. The Ryobi is compact and can fill to 80 psi no problem. Just let it cool down if it starts getting hot.

I carry a portable one I purchased from Sears years ago for less than $100 bucks. Mine is AC but I have a genny if I need it on the side of a road.

There are many many choices out there, just make sure that it has the capability of output for the PSI that your tires need. Mine is rated at 110 psi and if it was 80 psi, it would be useless.

It it was higher, it would be to large to be mobile for my old body.

I have an older Viair I bought for my Jeep years ago. Still pumps the MH tires no problem. I helped out a guy with a 5th wheel (six tires...yikes) last year and it just trucked on. I had to replace the little rubber shock absorbers between the compressor and the "foot" but that was Lowes hardware for cheap.

Anything that is from Viair is a good quality product. Look for the models that are continuous duty instead of partial duty cycles.

Ours has ran for many many hours, filled lots of tires coming off the off-road trails and still running strong.
