Roof covering opinions

Good afternoon everyone:

I live north of DFW airport (gets hot here) and have always kept my 2008 Greyhawk inside storage.

Being retired now, I am looking to cut costs where possible, and was interested in hearing your pros and cons on leaving it out side with a cover on it.

It looks almost new and only has 30,xxx miles on it and hopefully will last a long time and I dont want to take chances on it while covered outside in the Texas sun.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
The Boltman

Get Reflectix foil faced bubble wrap for ducts and put in the windows to reflect sun and heat. Same for skylights. If you do go for a cover make sure it is permeable so moisture will not gather inside and mold.

How about a tent style roof??

Covers are a PITA to get on and remove. Plus, you'll be up on the roof.

But - that said - I think it's the cheapest way to keep the sun off your RV. Bear in mind, the cover may only last a couple of seasons.

One of the worst downpours of my life happened a bit north and west of DFW airport. I was pretty sure I saw a man with a beard in an ark that time.

Thanks to both of you guys for the info. I have reflectix for all the windows and those foam pads with refletix for the vents.

It does look like a PITA to put on. I am going to have to sleep on this. Thanks again!!!
