See level Monitoring System Installed in Greyhawk

Just completed a shakedown trip with the new See Level monitoring system. 4 hours of install time (really taking my time in the heat), and I am super happy with it... no more waiting for a “dirty-foot shower” to spur a “late-night and covert gray water dump.”

For anyone who has installed this system on a motor coach, did you cover the tank senders with rubber undercoating, or just leave them as is?

My tanks are all in enclosed spaces protected from the elements so I did not cover mine over. I have used them for almost 2 years now and love them!

JD, that's a pretty cool system. I didn't know anything like that was out there. A few questions. How much did it cost? Did you have to drill in through the top of the tanks? It appears you just cut out the part of the old monitoring system and either inserted the new panel or just overlapped the edges of the cutout? Is that true? I assume there's a new sensor rod in the tank? Thanks for posting it.

The sensors are attached to the outside of the tank, so no tank drilling is required (the sensors are also never exposed to tank contents causing bad readings). I cut the old monitor lights/display out of the existing panel using a Dremel, and I installed the new display with the existing wiring. no additional wiring runs were required.

Thank you for posting this as I had no idea that something like this existed. I am now researching which version I want to go with. Also have to crawl under my 2017 Greyhawk to see what tank access there is.

I will probably add a second monitor in my fill station mainly because I like gadgets and it would help when I am country filling while boondocking.
