Solar Power
Just a note to follow up about my plans for solar power.
The forum members have been so much help and am grateful, some for solar, some against, and some eh to each his ow.
My quest to do this was for some TV coverage and ease of running out of power, we are not stuck inside watching TV all day but are early risers and like a little news and like some sports and we get really tired of playing card games in the evening, so I'm going to give up solar for the time being and just invest in a 12 Volt television and a satellite and better batteries for now and see what I use. Then I can add two or three panels on the roof, wire through a controller etc, etc and do it right. We never sit still in one place very long because we like to go, go so probably will stay charged up anyway. we put on about 10k per year and have been motorhoming for 10 years, love it and love our Jayco and thought you all would like to know your efforts helped.
