That chassis is already limited for cargo carrying capacity. Adding another couple hundred pounds would limit it even more.

We just had an Equalizer Leveling System installed on ours. They took off the Equalizer stabilizer jacks that came with our motorhome when they installed (very heavy). We were careful to get this particular leveling system so that we wouldn't void our Mercedes warranty. We went to Elkhart and had the actual Equalizer Company install them. We really like the leveling system - wouldn't go back to blocks and ramps for anything! Weight difference isn't that significant. And obviously you don't have to travel all the way to Indiana to have one installed. We just happened to be in Middlebury having some warranty work completed at the Jayco factory.

We had ours weighed as we normally travel with almost empty black and grey and almost 1/2 fresh and we still had several hundred pounds left. Over 700 if I remember correctly. I think the equalizer system adds maybe 250lbls if I remember correctly. Even if I was closer to the max I would be willing to leave the wife at home to not have to fool with lego blocks anymore.lol
