Sun shades for Seneca

Just picked up our new 2016 Seneca and wanted to replace the silly front curtin with a sun shade. It's a little larger then the normal size you can get at WalMart, so has anyone found a place that carries the size needed for a motor home?

From an earlier post, what I have in mine. Fit well. And the 2016 cabs are the same, even if not listed.

I take it you are talking about the front windshield privacy curtain. On long stays we use the silver heat reflectant shield, plus the interior privacy curtain. You can purchase the larger ones at any truck stop. I think we bought ours at CW.

Thanks, they work well. They roll up for storage and have a sewn-on velcro strap to keep them rolled up.

The windshield cover is held in place by lowering the sun visors onto the cover. The side windows have 4 suction cups each to hold them to the window. They have never fallen off even after "baking" for a while. The temperature difference is significant when in the sun.

My Dear Wife also modified the original rear bedspread to serve to separate the cab from the coach. We went with an RV Superbag for the bed and did not need the bedspread anymore. When camping we stash laundry bags and such up there to keep them out of sight.

The cover definitely makes the coach easier to heat/cool when it is up. We use the Jayco-supplied curtain when it is just overnight, so it still has a purpose!

I had some custom screens made for ours when we were in Vegas last fall.

Check out heatshieldstore.com. They have products specific to your vehicle. We have this in our '14 Seneca 37TS. Perfect fit, complete privacy and keeps the cab cool!

After reading an earlier post from Robbyr I purchased the same from Amazon. The side windows came in for the wrong year Freightliner and Heatshield promptly sent me the correct model. They work great and as he said the side shield suction cups have always stuck.

I have the gold heat shields worked great right out of the box and you can actually feel the difference in the temps
